The Accountable Bookkeepers Story

The story of Accountable Bookkeepers starts back in 2004. Kathy Benson made the decision to start a business that provided bookkeeping and admin services to small businesses in her local Sydney’s Northern Beaches area. As the business grew, we chose to focus on bookkeeping, so we changed the name to Accountable Bookkeepers in 2010.

Accountable Bookkeepers works with many small and medium businesses, helping them with bookkeeping, payroll and more. We love to serve our local Sydney, Northern Beaches and Northern Suburbs clients, but with modern technology, we now service interstate and international clients as well.

Our client base is diverse, spanning across many industries, business sizes and types, it’s safe to say our bookkeepers have a wide range of experience.

Based in Sydney’s Northern Beaches Kathy leads a team with a wealth of knowledge across all of your business and accounting needs.

Kathy has a Diploma of Accounting and has excellent knowledge across major accounting packages and add-on apps. Kathy is driven both by numbers and technology, and how the two can work together to assist client’s run an efficient business. She thrives on problem-solving and encourages and assists client to gain more from their accounting and other software.
